Prayer Levels
Prayer247365 Partners
There are no requirements for partners to be
at or achieve a certain “level” of ability.
All that is required is a sincere heart for
prayer and a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ. Join with us as fellow
Christians to be involved in intercessory
prayer for non-profit ministry
organizations.
Prayer Models
The Lord’s Prayer was a means that Jesus
used to teach his disciples the basics of
prayer. Scripture contains many examples of
prayer types. Prayer247365 uses a specific
prayer
model to spiritually support ministry
organizations. Its design is to focus
intercessory prayer groups upon specific
timeline needs within a ministry. Why? When
2 or more are gathered together, Jesus says
“l am with you” and the Father says, “It
will be done!” (Matthew 18: 19, 20) Focused,
timely prayer is a powerful weapon against
the world and its evil forces. (Ephesians
6:10-18)
The Prayer247365 model has four major
components. These components are borrowed
from Old Testament military ideas and
adapted for our modern world. The components
are:
·
the advance guard – the ministry spearhead,
·
the body guard – protects the “Now” of daily
operation and activity,
·
the rear guard – covers and protects the
accomplishments and responsibility,
·
the guardrails – maintains scriptural
boundaries.
The Holy Spirit (cloud by day and pillar of
fire at night) provided the spiritual
leadership and covering for the assembled
body. This physical pattern comes from
Numbers 9:15-23, 10:1-36. In these verses,
we see how the Lord guided the Nation of
Israel while they were wandering in the
desert. This formation gave Israel
protection, marching form, guidance, and
rules of conduct as they moved through the
wilderness. Today, we can use this same form
type in organized prayer for ministries.
It is not the only prayer form to use or
model for prayer. But, God thought it good
for the Israelites, why not use it?
